Vehicle Information (Customers): We collect information about your vehicle, including its make, model, year, VIN, and any description of issues you provide.
Profile Information (Mechanics): We collect information you add to your profile, such as your business name, years of experience, and certifications.
Payment Information: When you book a service or set up payouts, our payment processor, Stripe, collects your payment card information or bank account details. Clutch Auto does not store your full payment card or bank account numbers.
Communications: We collect information when you communicate with us (e.g., for customer support) or with other users through the Platform.

b. Information We Collect Automatically:

Log and Usage Data: We collect information about your interactions with the Platform, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, and the dates and times of your visits.
Location Data: With your permission, we may collect your device's precise location to help you find nearby mechanics or to define service areas.

c. Information for Mechanics (KYC):

To comply with financial regulations ("Know Your Customer" or KYC), our payment processor, Stripe, requires that Mechanics provide identity verification information, which may include your address, date of birth, and government-issued identification number (such as a Social Security Number or Employer Identification Number). This information is provided directly to Stripe and is not stored by Clutch Auto.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for various purposes, including to:

Provide, maintain, and improve our Platform.
Facilitate the connection between Customers and Mechanics.
Process transactions, including payments and payouts.
Send you transactional communications, such as booking confirmations, receipts, and service updates.
Respond to your comments, questions, and requests for customer support.
Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our Platform.
Detect and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities.

Between Customers and Mechanics: We share information to facilitate the booking and provision of Services. For example, we share a Customer's name, vehicle information, and service location
